Fall Village Gatherings

Be a part of the City Church's inaugural Village!

"Villages" are gatherings of people. Villages are communities. Villages have common geography, vision, purpose, goals. Villages are the main venue for regular life in The City Church, and we're laying the foundation over fall 2009.

Nearly every week* from Sept 13-Dec 13, The City Church's first Villages are meeting weekly, on two nights and in two locations. In order to give you a feel for "City life," this fall we're asking the question, "if we're a community on mission, what does __[insert an aspect of church life]__ look like?"

There is no cost; kids are welcome to join us at our Sunday Village, as approved folks take turns leading "kid-friendly lessons," and we'll rotate through providing food. Each week we'll eat together, talk about life and God, pray for each other and meet each others needs, carry out local mission, and encourage each other with the Bible and theology as we build our church community!

*NOTE: a few weeks this fall, we're serving our city together on Sundays instead of meeting together: Oct 18, Nov 15. See www.fwcitychurch.org for schedule, meeting locations, etc. for these days*

As we continue to finalize our vision and structure, please email Ben with questions or concerns; let us know if this time doesn't work for you; and please help spread the word. Come check out our first-ever Village, and let us know you're coming so we can have enough food and materials for you!
