Over the past months, more & more conversations have been had, prayers have been shared, RSVP’s have been made, & food, roles, & needs have been assigned & claimed.
But to truly get the full use of this great tool, we want YOU to start creating events, carrying out ministry, sharing stories, & inviting others to be a part of what you’re doing.
Mike & Meredith Dunbar, the first folks in The City Church sent out on international mission, send regular updates from their new home in Bogata, Colombia. In addition to both teaching classes, immersing themselves in the city, and getting involved with local families, Mike is the high school principal and Meredith is helping the school nurse. It's an honor to see The City Church's people expanding their mission from Fort Worth into other parts of the world, on a long-term basis.
The City Church's first-ever July 4 Fiesta was one of the most meaningful times of loving our neighbors and blessing our city many of us have ever known. A few of our folks have written reflections on the night - check 'em out below.

From June 29, 2009 to June 29, 2010: The City Church journey was announced a year ago today - Ben reflects on the past 356 days, and on what God has done in & through us, as our church family is striving to live as the church we see in the Bible, on his blog.
Our first-ever summer is shaping up to be an eventful one: We're starting new Villages in new areas in and around Fort Worth. We're continuing to host every-Sunday opportunities, on an every-other-week basis (All-Church Gathering one week, followed by an opportunity to live out our identities the next). We're hosting a new Village leader Crash Course weekend and continuing Pastor-Elder and Deacon candidacy.
Instead of hosting an All-Church Gathering Sunday, May 23, we want you to do something many of you have never done before: have your neighbors over for dinner!
